Building resilience
Helping individuals and teams to build the resilience to thrive not just survive

Leadership resilience
In a turbulent economy, with increasingly complex stakeholders, continuous change, highly competitive markets, consumers that are more sophisticated and more knowledgeable employees, the spotlight is on leaders to manage expectations and deliver results. Alongside this, leaders need to be able to address challenges, deal with setbacks and manage conflict – remaining a role model for others. Crucial to the success of leaders today, is resilience. As an expert in resilience Dr Suzanne Ross provides keynote sessions, master classes, psychometrics and coaching to help leaders and their teams to build resilience.
Personal resilience
Resilience has become a buzzword with a focus on bouncing back. A challenge with seeing resilience only as bouncing back is that, as anyone who has gone through significant trauma and adversity knows, you are often changed as a result – your circumstances, your relationships, your health, your outlook, what you value, your sense of purpose. When we see resilience as positive adaptation, we can ‘bounce forward’. Through coaching and the use of the Resilience at Work psychometric, Suzanne helps people to build their resilience, positively adapting through challenges and difficulty in order to thrive not just cope and survive.

Team resilience
Personal resilience and team resilience are different. A group of resilient individuals don’t necessarily make a resilient team. Teams working on demanding or long term projects, change initiatives, or during a particularly disruptive time for an organisation can quickly lose their mojo. The Resilience at Work Team psychometric helps teams to understand their collective team resilience and to put strategies in place to develop this. This on-line assessment is completed by each team member and is provided together with a team debrief and coaching session to help teams develop greater focus, alignment, resourcefulness, capability and connectedness.
